In our aim to align the mindset of the faculty and staff of Davao Doctors College with the institution’s goals to minimize costs and to uphold its being an environment-friendly college, the Human Resource Department facilitated a Seminar on Energy Conservation and Computation of Electricity Bill last October 28, 2011, 2:00PM-5:00PM at the old audio-visual room.
The seminar was conducted by representatives from Davao Light Power and Company (DLPC), namely: Mr. Nelson D. Gumba, Supervisor, Distribution Services Department; Mr. Allan L. Jaca, Supervisor, Billing Section; and Mr. Julieto L. Tenajeros, Staff, Billing and Collection Department. The speakers highlighted the topics on how to conserve electricity and how to compute the electricity bill. They also updated the participants of DLPC’s recent campaign on public safety dubbed as “I-Safety / Bantay Linya Program”.
Twenty six (26) faculty and staff expressed their appreciation of the said seminar for the fun learning and the tokens from DLPC given to those who actively participated.
Early on, DLPC also conducted an inspection of the electrical utilities of the College facilitated by Virgilio Enrique E. Abanilla, General Services Head.
