Spiritual activities at the start of every school year has been an integral part of the Davao Doctors College Program. This is an opportunity for administrators, faculty, staff and students to gather together according to their faith to participate in spiritual activities to ask God's grace for the coming school year.
On June 8, a day after the start of classes, a Mass of the Holy Spirit con-celebrated by Rev. Fr. Rene Ribac and Fr. Orlando Angelia was held at the DDC Gym with the assistance of the Catholic Campus Ministry of Davao Staff. Simultaneously, Ustadz Abdurrahman Caderao officiated the Islamic Teachings at the Inter-Faith Chapel , 2nd Floor of the Main building while Pastor Keith Roussel facilitated the Christian Worship at the DDC Audio Visual Room. Bible Sharing for the Inglesia ni Cristo students was conducted at Rm. 210 of the Annex Building.
Davao Doctors College believes that the highest form of education must include a spiritual component; thus, we integrate a spiritual component to every facet of our school culture. Our teachers begin their teaching day with a prayer together with the students. Students and teachers are encouraged through word and example, to develop a prayer dimension to their lives. Hence, an Ecumenical Chapel and an Inter-Faith chapel are made available in the campus.
