About 270 high school students and faculty from Notre Dame of Cotabato in Cotabato City came to visit Davao Doctors College (DDC) on December 2, 2011 in the afternoon.
“We never fail to visit DDC every year simply because of the overwhelming hospitality and welcoming gestures of the students, faculty and staff. It wasn’t like this in some tertiary schools in Davao City” said the faculty group headed by Mrs. Ana Marie Biodena.
Dr. Loyette P. Uy, Academic Coordinator and Ms. Anna Marie Candari, Marketing Officer gave a virtual tour of the College prior to the actual walk through.
Later in the afternoon, the student visitors toured the campus together with DDC volunteer students who oriented them on the services and facilities of the College. Some of the student visitors got to experience a simple massage and stretching by the DDC Massage Therapy Program scholars.
DDC Student volunteers, Jules Amanon of the Hospitality Management Department; Shahira Damiano of Radiologic Technology; Janilyn Audan and Joel Lisondato of Nursing; Tomas Monteverde VI and Derek Dale Bayquen of Physical Therapy, Ariel Barrientos and Camille Glenn Villanueva of Biology and Optometry did an excellent job of orienting and tour guiding the student visitors.
The school tour is an annual activity of ND Cotabato in connection with their Career Guidance Program (CGP) that also jibes with DDC’s own CGP.
