An award-winning writer, educator, playwright, critic and former Philippine Undersecretary of Education, Isagani R. Cruz, Ph.D., will grace Davao Doctors College with his presence to deliver a talk on the topic The Culture of Philippine Education on August 6, 2010, Friday, from 8:30AM to 11:00AM at the new audio-visual room.
As of July 28, 2010, there is a total of 283 employees: 102 (36%) non-teaching personnel,
108 (38%) from College of Nursing, 42 (15%) from College of Allied Health and Sciences
(CAHS) and 31 (11%) from College of Arts and Sciences, Business and Education.
The Human Resource Department conducted a series of induction of new employees on June 24 and July 4, 2010. Formerly the Orientation Program, it is recently changed to Induction Program as it integrates relevant topics such as Personality Development, Interpersonal Relationship and Library Usage on top of the orientation on institutional and human resource policies. The induction welcomed 13 new teaching staff and one non-teaching staff from the College of Allied Health and Sciences (CAHS) and College of Arts, Sciences, Business and Education (CASBE).
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) X1 conducted an orientation on Family Welfare Program (FWP) on July 23, 2010 at the Davao Doctors College new audio visual room. Directors, department heads, teaching and non-teaching supervisors and staff attended the said activity.

The school conducted AH1N1 vaccination for free for its employees on June 29, 2010, a day prior to the 15th Presidential Inauguration. The Human Resource Department availed of free AH1N1 vaccines from the Department of Health (DOH)-XI.

The Davao Colleges and Universities Network (DACUN) General Assembly for SY 2010-2011 brought together heads of schools and educators from 10 member institutions into one meeting on July 22 at the Audio Visual Room of Davao Doctors College. The DACUN Board and the eight (8) committees elected their new set of officers and presented their accomplishments, plans and projects.
Five out of five Davao Doctors College (DDC) Optometry graduates successfully hurdled the Licensure Exam given on July 7, 8, & 9 in Manila posting a 100% passing rate over the national passing rate of 86.21%. This is the 2nd year that DDC got a 100% passing rate.
More than 450 freshmen and new students convened at the Audio Visual Room for a Students' Orientation on July 13, 15 and 16. The 3-day orientation which covered everything from admission to graduation was conducted by the Academic Support Services Department (ASS) under the leadership of Dr. Lucila T. Lupo.
Davao Doctors College was privileged for having been invited to a Lecture on Islamic Peace Education. The invitation came from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of the University of the Philippines Mindanao. The three-hour session inclusive of an open forum was conducted last 01 July 2010 at 9:00AM, at the Lorenzo Hall of UP Mindanao in Mintal, Davao City. Dr. Lucila T. Lupo, Head of the Academic Support Services, and Mr. Romel L. Tambis, Head of the Student Personnel Services, attended the lecture.
