After the captivating celebration of the Kadayawan festival in Davao City, Davao Doctors College (DDC) took the pride of hosting a special event, the Philippine Physical Therapy Association (PPTA) 2011 National Convention on August 26-27, 2011 in Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City. This year's theme, “Filipino Physical Therapists as Agents of Change”, was a timely message amidst the controversies arising in the profession. The Philippine Physical Therapy Association in cooperation with DDC conducted a pre-conference seminar workshops entitled: Evaluation of Phsyical Therapy Education and Taping Principle and Its Application. The said seminar workshops were held in DDC AVR last August 25, 2011. The presentation and demonstration were made by Mr. Edward James R. Gorgon, Mphysio, PTRP and Ms. Maria Elizabeth M. Grageda, MHPEd, PTRP who were both PPTA Educators for Special Interest Group (SIG), and also by Mr. Raymond J. Pili, PTRP, who was Physical Therapists from Moro Lorenzo Sports Clinic, Manila.
