The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCAA) in cooperation with San Pedro College will hold a lecture-symposium on archives and paper conservation with the theme “Archives for Sustainable Development” on October 14, 2009 at 1:00 – 5:00 PM at the Labrecque Hall, San Pedro College, this city.

Davao Doctors College (DDC) will participate in the celebration through two contests namely: Essay Writing and Impromptu/Extemporaneous Dialogue.

To select the best participants, the Student Personnel Services screened potential contestants from the different departments of the three colleges in the afternoon of October 5, 2009 at the ASS Conference Room.

The screening was spearheaded by Dr. Lucila T. Lupo, ASS Head with Ms. Camila L. Likit, Asst. Registrar and Dr. Lily B. Babayen-on, Admissions Officer as members.

Dereck Dale Bayquen, BSPT 1 and Krisabelle Angela Sardeng, BSN 3 together with Danica Espinosa, PT 3 and Suzette Tomes , PT 3 constitute the two pairs of student- contestants in the Extemporaneous Dialogue. Floro Cubelo, Jr. BSN 3 and Jose Generoso Angkang RT 2 are the two other contestants in the Essay Writing Contest.
