Three (3) contestants to represent Davao Doctors College (DDC) in ABS-CBN’s 3rd Newscasting Competition were selected Friday afternoon, December 2 at the DDC AVR. Izzy Caayon, HM-3; Fhrain Jane Tampus, BSED 4 and Rizalee Marie Oralde, BSN 4 ruled over other six qualifiers from the other academic departments of the College.

 

Mr. Jose “Direk Beling” Rodriguez , Head, Creative Communication Management of ABS-CBN, DDC’s Academic Affairs Director, Dr. Maria Leah F. Villano with Planning, Research and Development Director, Dr. Lucila T. Lupo composed the panel of judges.

 

Caayon, Tampus and Oralde will compete in the Semi-finals on January 2012 at the University of Southern Mindanao Gym.

 

The three bets consistently showed dominance in the newscasting prowess from among the 31 original contestants that underwent screening prior to the school level elimination.
